The world knew LeBron James was good, but it was clear that he was on his way to becoming an all-time great when he torched the Detroit Pistons for 48 points in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals, including the Cavs' final 25 points on 11-of-13 shooting in a 109-107 victory. With the win, Cleveland took control of the series, which ultimately led to James' first NBA Finals appearance.
As part of Nike's upcoming "Think 16" Pack, the brand will pay homage to one of its greatest champions by introducing the first ever retro of James' sneakers from that iconic Game 5 performance—the Zoom LeBron Soldier 1. The "25 Straight" colorway is a reintroduction of the same navy and white colorway, with a few special markings that tie it to the rest of the collection.
The early word is that the Soldier 1 Retro will release at select retailers on May 31—the anniversary of Game 5.
