Earlier this week, news broke of a Nike "Champions Think 16" pack including first-ever retros of sneakers such as Kevin Durant'sKD 4, and now we're learning more details about the "Thunderstruck" style.
As its nickname suggests, this KD 4 calls back to Durant's stint with the Oklahoma City Thunder, specifically the team's 2012 NBA playoffs run and Western Conference Finals win over the San Antonio Spurs. During Game 6 of the series on June 6, Durant stole the show with 34 points and 14 rebounds as he led the Thunder to a 107-99 win to advance to the Finals.
On his feet, Durant wore an unreleased colorway of the KD 4 with a predominantly white upper, black outsole, and blue accents on its branding and laces. According to zsneakerheadz, this is the same pair that will release on June 7, 2018 as part of the "Champions Think 16" collection.
