The Nike Air More Uptempo's signature lettering has been repurposed by the brand on models like the Air Max Flair, but it's never been used quite like it is on this new women's model slated for fall 2018.
Images shared with Sole Collector by leaker pinoe77 show the new sneaker, known as the Nike Airquent, which lifts the bold letters of the Air More Uptempo and places them on a new sock-like knit bootie upper. The references don't end with the '90s hoop sneaker, either, as Nike says the shoe's heel Max Air unit and translucent foam forefoot take a page from the cushioning of the Air VaporMax.
The Airquent is set to release in the "Burgundy Crush/Black-White" makeup pictured above along with a "Black/White-Anthracite" colorway in October for $150.
