A group of young athletes from Houston had a Friday night to remember thanks to hometown hero Chris Paul.
Students from Patricia E. Paetow High School were invited to the Houston Rockets' Toyota Center suite on Friday to watch the team fend off the Phoenix Suns, but that was only the beginning of their fun.
Following the 104-103 Houston win, the school's JV basketball team was invited to tour the Rockets training facility. At the end of the tour, the group was greeted by Paul himself, who reminisced about his days playing on the JV team before breaking out stacks of his new Jordan CP3.11 "Rocket Fuel" sneakers. The players were gifted the unreleased Paul signature shoes, which are set to release this month.
In addition to the "Rocket Fuel" make up, a second "Home" colorway of the CP3.11 has recently surfaced.
