Atmos' numerous Nike collaborations over the years have produced some of the most coveted Air Maxes in existence, and the Japanese label is adding to its archive next month with the release of a multi-sneaker pack.
First previewed last month, the Atmos x Nike Air Max "We Love Nike" range includes three of the franchise's most significant models in the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, and Air Max 95. Each style uses a memorable colorway such as the Air Max 90 "Infrared" and the white/blue Air Max 1, and covers portions of the uppers in a graphic print inspired by stacks of Nike shoe boxes.
According to Atmos designer Hirofumi Kojima, the print was inspired by a "sneakerhead's room" and was created using items from his own collection. "I shot in random order including my personal shoes box and [Nike's] archive of the company's original work by Atmos. It is nostalgic when the viewer sees it," reads a loose translation from Kojima's Shoesmaster interview.
This collection is confirmed to release in May, however it's not clear if each style will see a wide release or if certain pairs are exclusive to Atmos. Check back soon for the latest launch updates on this collab.
UPDATE (04/23): Atmos Tokyo has announced via Instagram that it will be releasing the "Jade" Air Max 95 from the "We Love Nike" pack on Saturday, April 28. It will be an exclusive in-store release and come packaged in a special box. Retail is set at ¥17,000 (app. $156).
