It's been over nine months since a partnership between Under Armour and rapper ASAP Rocky was first reported, and we finally have what may be a confirmed sighting of first collaboration to emerge from the project.
ASAP Rocky video director Dexter Navy shared a look at the new sneaker on his Instagram story along with the caption "Flacko Blessed the Kid." The sneaker in question seems to align with a model that Rocky was recently spotted wearing in an Instagram post of his own, which was presumed by some in the comments section to be the Osiris D3.
While there was previously controversy around a possible ASAP Rocky x Under Armour collaboration, this one looks to be the real thing. Upon closer inspection, the text on the tongue appears to read "Designed by Flacko in Association with Under Armour Sports Style." Additionally, AWGE, the creative agency founded by Rocky, is called out in the branding.
It's unclear whether or not this collaboration will come to retail, but with the release of Rocky's Testing album eminent, an official announcement could be on the horizon for the long-awaited project.
