Jordan Brand's latest take on the Air Jordan 1 is a clean black and sand colorway that slightly resembles the "Lance Mountain" Nike SB collaboration from 2014.
This pair of the retro high top features a premium black leather upper with a desert sand trim. Desert sand hits are also used on the midsole and Jumpman branding on the insole. Since this Air Jordan 1 is not an OG release, a black leather Jumpman logo is used on the tongue instead of the more-appreciated "Nike Air" branding tag. A shiny black Wings logo is also stamped on the lateral ankle.
Although the light-colored trim across the upper makes this pair seem like it has a bottom layer of sand leather, this black upper cannot be customized to the wearer's liking like the aforementioned "Lance Mountain" pairs allowed for.
The "Black/Desert Sand/Black" Air Jordan 1 is currently available on nike.com for $145.
