After leaked images from earlier this year seemed to indicate the Under Armour Curry 5 would be a low top silhouette, there are now images of two more colorways that further confirm that this will be the case.
Images of black-based and white-based pairs come courtesy of @sneakerjamz on Instagram. Similar to the initial leaked photos, these new images show off the model's knit upper, synthetic overlay, and translucent outsole. The white pair opts for a multicolor overlay, while the black pair maintains a black-on-black aesthetic. Other hits on the Curry 5 include his signature emblazoned on the heel and an "SC30" logo tab on the lateral ankle collar.
The low-cut Curry 5 is a drastic turn from the Curry 4 silhouette, which featured a high-top sock collar construction. There is currently no timetable for when to expect Stephen Curry's next signature to debut at retailers, but do not be surprised if they make an on-court debut during the 2018 Playoffs, like the Curry 4 did last year.
