Since joining the likes of Rihanna and Kylie Jenner on team Puma last September, Selena Gomez has been the face of the brand's Phenom trainer, and now it looks like they're taking the partnership one step further with an official collaboration.
Gomez took to Puma's Instagram stories this morning to unveil the sneakers, which feature a white upper with gold details including a charm around the ankle. "I got to design every single part of it," Gomez said of the design. "I wanted a shoe that was super clean, I'm very into sneakers with my dresses, with my outfits, everything. And I added this cute little charm, because it's something I used to do when I was younger."
More than just another celebrity co-sign, Gomez's new Pumas are for a good cause, too. She says some of the proceeds from sales will benefit the Lupus Research Alliance. "It's been really fun working so closely with Puma on the design of the shoe," Gomez said in a press release. "I'm also proud to partner with them in helping to affect lives and bring attention to a cause that is very important to me personally."
The Selema Gomez x Puma Phenom Lux will be released April 6 for $110 from puma.com and Puma stores.
