After making their debut on the runway at Pyer Moss' Fall/Winter 2018 fashion show back in February, the New York-based label's Reebok sneakers are finally set to release.
The Reebok DMX Fusion Experiment by Pyer Moss is the brand's unique retooling of the Reebok DMX Fusion, a shoe that itself is a reinterpretation of the DMX Run 10 from the late '90s. To give the shoe a more technical look, this version has been covered in various sets of laces that allow the wearer to customize the look of their pair. The inspiration behind the multi-laced look is air drop containers and the multiple straps used to harness them.
Rather than adding splashes of color, Pyer Moss opted for a clean white-on-white look for this pair with minimal co-branding present on each lace tab. The white Ultraknit upper sits on top of the signature DMX cushioning system. While there is currently no information regarding the other Pyer Moss x Reebok collaborations that were also spotted on the runway last month—including an all black version of the DMX Fusion—the white Reebok DMX Fusion Experiment by Pyer Moss will be available on Friday, March 23 at reebok.com and other select stockists for $180.
Interested customers can also sign up to purchase a pair before the official release here. The sign-up period concludes on Thursday, March 22 at 11:50 p.m. EST. Winners will be chosen at random.
