Kyrie Irving turns 26 a week from today, and it looks like Nike may already have a celebratory colorway of his signature sneaker lined up.
According to flightclub.cn, a "Year of the Monkey" Kyrie 4 dropped in Hong Kong this week. For those wondering why Nike is dropping this colorway when 2018's Chinese zodiac is actually the Year of the Dog, it's apparently because Kyrie was born in 1992, a recent Year of the Monkey, which also occurred in 2004 and again in 2016.
The style is decked out in details which include a multicolor outsole, mismatched tongue logos with red on the left shoe and blue on the right, and a textured suede side panel.
There is currently no confirmed stateside release date for this pair, but it's plausible that it could arrive on time for Irving's birthday on March 23.
UPDATE (03/30): Official Nike images of the Kyrie 4 "Year of the Monkey" have surfaced, along with an expected release date of April 14, an already-busy day for Kyrie drops.
