Nike's latest ad answers the question of what would happen if the world stopped spinning. In this "Choose Go" campaign, citizens around the world decide that the only way to jump start the Earth's rotation again is to run in the same direction.
The commercial features cameo appearances from Nike endorsers including Odell Beckham Jr., Kevin Hart, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Simone Biles, and Kobe Bryant, who dramatically flies in on a Kobe-branded helicopter. Even everyone's favorite scientist Bill Nye joins up to help save the world from the "stopocalypse."
Of course, this is still an ad after all, and is promoting the brand's two premier running silos of the moment—the VaporMax and recently released Epic React Flyknit. The latter makes multiple appearances throughout the video.
To help celebrate the promotion, and Nike is shutting down CA-90 in Culver City on April 22 to host a 10k run which will benefit organizations in the local community. Those interested can register here.
