All eyes are on college basketball's playoffs at the moment, but the NBA's regular season is also heading down its home stretch. That means the league's biggest sneakerheads are making their last cases to challenge for the end-of-the-year #SoleWatch crown.
This past week, Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan continued his role as the on-court lead for Kobe Bryant's signature sneaker line by debuting the Mamba's newest model, the Nike Kobe A.D. NXT 360. Touted by both Bryant and Nike CEO Mark Parker in recent months, the low-top features 360-degree Flyknit construction and both React technology and Lunarlon cushioning. A release date hasn't been announced, but Mamba Day being around the corner would be a day to keep an eye on.
Speaking of the crown, P.J. Tucker and Montrezl Harrell continued to bring the heat this week, Tucker breaking out his usual rotation of exclusives and high-dollar retros, while Harrell hooped in a few pairs you probably haven't thought about in a while. These two have been the obvious cream of the #SoleWatch crop this season and neither are slowing down as the playoffs approach.
