Those in search of the perfect sneakers to wear to the theater on opening day now have new options from Marvel.
The Walt Disney-owned comic publisher has just rolled out several high-top sneakers for some of its most popular franchises including Black Panther, Captain America, Deadpool, and Guardians of the Galaxy. The officially-licensed styles are available now exclusively from ThinkGeek.
Although the sneakers themselves are rather bare-bones in terms of tech and innovation, that didn't stop ThinkGeek from having some fun with its product descriptions. The retailer was kind enough to clarify that the collection's Baby Groot sneakers are in fact not made of real wood, while the Black Panther style takes a page from Wakanda by using "the most advanced sneaker technology."
