Before taking the floor tonight for its Final Four matchup in San Antonio against the fellow No. 1 seed Villanova Wildcats, the Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball team got laced up with pairs of the "Blush" Adidas Yeezy 500.
The program took to its official Twitter account to show off the pile of Yeezy boxes along with snapshots of some of the players' elated reactions to seeing their free gifts from Kanye and the Three Stripes on Good G.O.O.D. Friday.
Free Yeezys is definitely not a bad perk for playing for an Adidas-sponsored university, especially considering the "Blush" 500 immediately sold out upon its release back in February. Maybe the new footwear will give the Jayhawks some added motivation to pull off a win tonight and advance to the championship game of this year's March Madness tournament.
For all of us not lucky enough to be Division-I athletes, a restock of the aforementioned "Blush" pair, as well as a rumored restock of the "Super Moon Yellow" (sans mandatory clothing bundle) and a new "Utility Black" colorway look to be the next few Yeezy 500 drops to look forward to.
