Hong Kong boutique Juice has reconnected with Adidas for an upcoming Consortium release of the retro Gazelle silhouette.
This collaborative Gazelle transforms the retro model with a new upper designed specifically for the project. The woven material is similar to the oft-used Primeknit with increased support. The toe, Three Stripes branding, and heel are done in a premium tan pig skin nubuck.
Another transformative feature on this particular iteration of the Gazelle is its crepe sole in place of the traditional rubber sole unit. Finishing details include dual-branded insoles, a white leather liner, white tongue and laces, and the tongue tabs usually found on Consortium releases.
Juice also teamed up with Adidas at the top of 2018 to release a special pair of the NMD Racer covered in Alienegra print, which was the first Consortium project of the year.
The Juice x Adidas Gazelle collaboration will receive a pre-release exclusively at Juice on March 17 with a wider release taking place at select Consortium accounts on March 24. Pricing has yet to be announced.
