An alternate version of Jeff Staple's "Black Pigeon" Nike SB Dunk collaboration from 2017 has been unveiled. During a talk at Philadelphia boutique Ubiq this past Wednesday, Staple himself shared a high-cut sample of the sneaker.
This Dunk High version sports the same black upper, sienna hits, and Pigeon embroidery on the lateral heel that were used on the Dunk Low that dropped at retailers. However, this pair features some noticeable material swaps. Black leather takes the place of suede on various panels, and it also looks to sport a black patent leather Swoosh instead of the standard leather branding on the Low.
Staple also recently shared a series of rejected samples that came from the process that led to the final "Black Pigeon." Check out more highlights from the talk at Ubiq below.
