Nike SB's latest collaboration is with classic '90s skateboarding company Antihero. The collection will consist of a Dunk High, Blazer Low, and apparel inspired by two shared team riders between the two brands.
The Dunk High, which has been previously previewed, is the latest pair from long-time SB collaborator Brian Anderson. The Antihero team rider provides a straightforward approach with a black upper composed of tumbled leather and canvas, a gum outsole, and Anderson's initials stitched on the left heel in a scribbled font. The numbers "1" and "8" are stitched on the opposite heel as a reference to the position of the letters "A" and "H" in the alphabet.
Anderson acted as the art director for the entire capsule. The basic idea was to fuse the Antihero brand with Nike SB products the skate imprint did not produce like footwear and cut-and-sew apparel.
Antihero and Nike SB team rider Grant Taylor's Blazer Low utilizes a grey suede upper with grey leather being used on the heel tab and Swoosh branding. It sits on top of a gum outsole. Taylor's initials are printed on the left heel in yellow, while the same "1 and "8" can be seen on the right heel in the same font present on the Dunk High. A matching jersey, jacket, and backpack round out the offering.
Look for the entire Antihero x Nike SB collection to arrive at select retailers on March 16 with a separate nike.com drop to take place on March 19. Retail pricing has yet to be announced.
