Not long after a "Georgetown" Air Jordan 3 PE surfaced, there is now a look at a PE version of the retro silhouette created for Marquette. Thanks to @sneakerreporter on Instagram, images have hit the net of a Golden Eagles player exclusive colorway.
This special colorway utilizes a navy blue leather upper, yellow detailing, a baby blue midsole, Marquette's logo stitched on the tongue in place of the usual Jumpman logo, and "Marquette" stitched on the back of each tongue as well. The 3's signature elephant print is placed on the toe, heel, and eyelets in the same way that the pattern is most notably seen on the "True Blue" Air Jordan 3.
Much like Georgetown, Marquette unfortunately did not receive a bid for the 2018 NCAA tourney despite usually being in the fold come March Madness. However, the team will take the floor in the NIT tournament. Two schools that will be part of March Madness, Michigan and UNC, also received special PEs earlier in the season as well.
As most school-specific colorways are, expect these to remain exclusive to the Golden Eagles' players and staff.
