Air Jordan 1 Satin 'Shattered Backboard' Teaser

After debuting in 2016 in limited fashion, Jordan Brand may bringing back its Air Jordan 1 Satin concept again with yet another popular color scheme. Previous pairs have reinterpreted the "Bred" and "Royal" colorways, but this time around Jordan Brand is utilizing a more recent addition to its archives: 2015's "Shattered Backboard" release.

The Air Jordan 1 Satin "Shattered Backboard" appears that it will maintain the off white, black, and orange color blocking used on the original. The only difference is that the tumbled leather will be swapped out for a luxurious satin upper. While major details and an official confirmation on this pair's release remain under wraps for the time being, leaker @baltsneakershow on Instagram hints that this pair can be expected "soon."

The leather version of the "Shattered Backboard" was already commended for its stellar quality, so a satin upper will likely fall in line with the original praise given to the pair. If it does end up hitting retailers later this year, based on the past satin releases, expect limited run of less than 1,000 pairs, limited stockists, and a retail price of $175.

UPDATE (3/7): According to info shared by @pinoe77 and @perryprophets, this Air Jordan 1 Satin "Shattered Backboard" style will be made available exclusively in women's sizes. Take a closer look at the upcoming colorway below.
