Although the Adidas AlphaBounce has been embraced for its lifestyle-friendly looks, the sneaker is first and foremost a performance model, which is why the brand has teamed up with Extra Butter for an exclusive colorway set to release in a pop-up shop that doubles as a gym.
To celebrate the event, Adidas gave the AlphaBounce Beyond model a white and blue update inspired by VO2 Max testing, which measures the maximum amount of oxygen a person can use during intense exercise. The clean colorway is complimented by updated materials for the sneaker, which Adidas touts as a training shoe built for running.
From March 16 through March 28, the NYC boutique will hold a pop-up at 101 Stanton Street featuring VO2 Max testing with Woodway treadmills and NormaTec recovery sessions. In addition to the testing, Adidas and Extra Butter will offer free run and yoga sessions throughout the month.
This new AlphaBounce Beyond colorway drops March 16 exclusively at Extra Butter’s pop-up and online for $130.
