Under Armour Curry 4 'MBK Alliance' Custom

Stephen Curry's is using the Golden State Warriors game tonight against the Washington Wizards in the nation's capital to spread an important message with his footwear. During the contest, Curry will be wearing a customized pair of the Under Armour Curry 4 to support the My Brother's Keeper Alliance. Ahead of game time, the Warriors point guard took to Instagram to show off the pair.

The My Brother's Keeper Alliance is an organization that was launched by President Obama back in 2014 that works to provide equal resources and opportunities for boys and men of color across the country. The pair itself sports a white to black fade across the upper and is accented with gold detailing. The logo of the MBK Alliance is also prominently displayed on the lateral heel.

After the game, Curry will be auctioning off the one-of-one pair with all proceeds being donated to the initiatives of the MBK Alliance.

Curry is not the first pro who has chosen to make a statement on equality with his footwear in Washington D.C. this season. Earlier in the year, LeBron James laced up a mismatched pair of his "Equality" LeBron 15 PEs as well.
