One of college football's most dynamic players for the past three seasons, Penn State running back and top NFL Draft prospect Saquon Barkley has signed his first major endorsement deal to become an official member of the Nike Football family.
Barkley announced the deal on Twitter yesterday, thanking Nike for allowing him to pursue a dream of becoming one of its athletes. The brand welcomed him with a few gifts for his 21st birthday, which he celebrated on Wednesday.
This past season, Barkley was named a Consensus All-American, Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Big Ten. He's generally projected as a Top 5 pick in mock drafts.
