Nike is giving customers the opportunity to win some important PEs worn by LeBron James this season. After debuting during the 2017-2018 NBA season opener against Boston, 400 pairs (200 black and 200 white) of LeBron's"Equality" PEs will now be given away through a drawing system.

The pairs themselves ares simple enough in execution. Each sports a black or white Battleknit upper with gold detailing on the Swoosh and large 'EQUALITY.' embroidery on the heel. This message ties back to Nike's "Equality" campaign that was introduced last year in an effort to promote equality among all races, genders, religions, and preferences.

As one of the strongest voices on social issues when it comes to pro athletes, this pair also symbolizes James' mission off the court. They have taken on new importance given the recent "shut up and dribble" comments by reporter Laura Ingraham regarding LeBron's frequency to speak out against social injustices in the country.

In an effort to promote equality, even in the sneaker space, all 400 pairs of the "Equality" PEs will be raffled off via an online drawing for U.S. residents. Each customer is allowed to enter once per shoe size for free, and can also enter an unlimited number of times via $10 donations. The donations will go to programming of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.

The drawing begins on Feb. 26 and will conclude at 11:59 p.m. EST on March 2. Winners will be notified on March 3 and receive their pairs the week of March 5. Winners are also encouraged to swap with same-sized winners to get their own black and white mismatched pair like the one worn by LeBron on-court in Washington D.C. earlier this season
