One of the most coveted colorways of LeBron James's first signature model may be making a return. Images of a retro edition of the "Wheat" Air Zoom Generation have been spotted at Remix Footwear. Debuted by King James in 2004 in the Rookie Challenge Game, the shoe features an all 'Wheat' upper on top of a gum outsole.
There is no confirmed sneaker release date for this shoe, but it is rumored to link to NBA All-Star Weekend in February.
The Nike Air Zoom Generation first retroed in 2017, including a "Vachetta Tan" colorway similar to the "Wheat" edition, althouth it utilized different materials.
UPDATE 02/02: The return of the "Wheat" Air Zoom Generation has been confirmed. It is set to launch on Saturday, Feb. 17, per Foot Locker's release calendar.
