No matter how terrible the New York Knicks are, Madison Square Garden remains a stage for the world's greatest athletes to display their skills when it town. The latest All-Star to use MSG as his personal playground was Kyrie Irving, who put up big numbers for the Boston Celtics in tonight's game.
Irving danced and dazzled his way to 31 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists, nearing f'ing around and getting a triple-double in a 121-112 Celtics victory. Struggling before the break, Boston has rolled off two-straight since returning.
Irving went to work in a clean Celtics-themed colorway of the Nike Kyrie 4. The simple design is white-based, complemented by green accents and a speckled midsole. These appear to be a player exclusive at the moment, but that doesn't mean an eventual release is impossible.
