During last night's contest between the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers in Miami, Dwyane Wade knocked down a game winning jumper in the final seconds to secure a victory for the Heat. While game winners are always a fairly big deal, this one was more meaningful given what D Wade was wearing on his feet that night. Wade hit the jumper in a pair of the Li-Ning Way of Wade 6 honoring Parkland shooting victim Joaquin Oliver.

Oliver was one of the 17 people killed in the tragic Parkland high school shooting that occurred earlier this month. A huge fan of the Heat star, the 17-year old was buried in a Dwyane Wade Miami Heat jersey

Wade even dedicated the remainder of this season to the young fan gone too soon.

The pair of Way of Wade 6s D-Wade was rocking were a simple all-black colorway. What made them so special was some personal customization from the veteran guard who wrote "Joaquin Oliver" on the lateral heel in marker.

The entire Miami Heat team will also wear "MSD" patches on their uniforms for the rest of the season to honor all of the lives lost at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
