Nike is bringing back the Air Jordan 3 in a big way to celebrate the iconic shoe's 30th anniversary. Along with a return of the "Black/Cement" colorway, a "White/Cement" 3 with a clear sole, a Flyknit edition, and a new look inspired by Tinker Hatfield's original sketches, February will also introduce Air Jordan 3 golf shoes.
Two pairs of the fairway-approved model will be dropping. The first sticks with a traditional "White/Cement" color scheme, utilizing most of the elements of the original basketball silhouette, but replacing the standard outsole with golf spikes. Unfortunately, this pair sports a Jumpman logo on the heel instead of the OG "Nike Air" branding.
The second, a "Bronze" colorway, is composed of a premium brown leather upper, light brown elephant print panels, a tonal Jumpman logo on the tongue, and bronze hardware accents. In place of the traditional branding on the heel tab, this pair opts for a metal Nike golf crest.Â
Both pairs of the Air Jordan 3 Golf will be available at nike.com and other select retailers on Feb. 16.
