Adidas' Boost technology recently celebrated its 5th anniversary and is showing no signs of slowing down. Now, the brand is preparing to launch two new colorways of the popular Adidas UltraBoost silhouette along with an updated version of the Ultra Boost X.
This "Energy From The Ground Up" collection highlights "the raw, unfiltered energy and emotions of a runner's journey, before, during, and after their run," according to the press release.
Each shoe in the collection features an updated Primeknit upper, improving on previous models by providing additional support and ventilation. The new UltraBoost X, a model just for women, takes design cues from the Ultra Boost Uncaged and Adizero Sub2 running silhouette by moving the cage inside, giving it a sleeker look.
The new colorways of the Ultra Boost and the Ultra Boost X will be available on adidas.com for $180 starting on Feb. 21, followed by a wider release at worldwide Adidas accounts on Feb. 28.
