Nike Shox technology made its return to the sneaker world last weekend and debuted in two colorways.

The highly publicized ‘Metallic Gold’ colorway dominated newsfeeds and Twitter pages as the internet gave its all too early verdict on the Swoosh’s revival of Shox tech, but the sneaker is featured in other colorways as well.

‘Metallic Gold’ dropped on Jan. 18 and along with it came a ‘Black’ colorway that received less attention. The model features the same 1984-inspired tech alongside Flywire cables and the cinch lacing system that makes the Nike Shox Gravity a new silhouette.

A deep purple knit upper and black caging give the shoe an opposite aesthetic fell to its lighter colored counterpart. The Shox unit comes dipped in light purple and sits adjacent to a blue outline near the heel. Finished off with a bright, white swoosh the ‘Black’ colorway is the third official colorway of the Nike Shox Gravity.
