One of the many perks LeBron James has enjoyed during his time with Nike has been the ability to lace his former high school's basketball team, the Saint Vincent-Saint Mary "Fighting Irish," with green and gold PEs. The latest in a long line of these sneakers is a pair of exclusive "SVSM" Nike Lebron Soldier 11s.
Nikelebronnet shared the latest shoe on Instagram, which feature the signature green/gold colorway with the word "Irish" on the top strap. The caption also mentions that this version of the Soldier 11 has different colored logos on the bottom of the shoe. Since this shoe is exclusive to the "Fighting Irish," a retail release of the colorway isn't likely.
James' time with the Fighting Irish brought the school three championships before he was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003.
