Nike allowing wearers to customize their own sneakers seems to be the theme with a handful of upcoming releases, and the Air Max HAL pack can be added to that list.

Releasing at select Nike retailers on Feb. 1, classic silhouettes including the Air Max 90, Air Max 95, and the Air Max 97 Ultra have been dressed in a black and olive green colorway. A set of 10 interchangable patches will accompany each shoe allowing for unique customization options on the upper. Nike Air Max 1 Patch dropped back in 2015 that utilized the a similar theme. Note that "HAL" refers to the "hook and loop" (aka, generic Velcro) closure system that allows patches to be swapped, not in reference to the Australian sneaker boutique Highs and Lows. Check out images of each shoe in detail below.
