While Air Max Day, a brand-created holiday observed on March 26, is still months away, Nike is already laying out its plans for the celebration. This year's launches around Air Max Day will begin in January and extend into March.
The first model to release in a sizable collection tied to Air Max Day is the Nike VaporMax Plus, a hybrid of the VaporMax and the Air Max TN that releases in limited numbers on Tuesday via Nike SNKRS. A wider rollout will follow on Jan. 25. The Air Max 270 will make its official debut on Feb. 1, with new colorways releasing on March 2. After that, the Air Max 180 and Air Max 93 will release on Feb. 2.
Nike also teased more Air Max Day models to come in a press release on Tuesday, although the brand did not confirm dates for additional pairs. Also arriving are the Air VaporMax 97, Air VaporMax Flyknit 2.0, and Sean Wotherspoon's Air Max 1/97, all of which Nike says will release "during the lead up to Air Max Day."
