As part of the build up to Air Max Day 2018 in March, Nike is bringing back some original Air Maxes from its archives. One of the pairs returning this year will be the OG "Dusty Cactus" colorway of the Air Max 93

The Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Max 93 was inspired by the contoured shape and blow molded construction of a milk jug. The model, which also takes design cues from the Air Huarache, sports details like a black neoprene collar and subtle hits of sport turquoise on the tongue branding, Swoosh, heel, and Air bubble. The 93 was the first model to use a 270-degree Air unit that wrapped around the heel. The return of the shoe is likely tied to the launch of the new Air Max 270 lifestyle silhouette that introduced a modern upgrade to the 270-degree Air unit.

This is not the first time the Air Max 93 has gotten a retro treatment—the model most recently returned in 2014 in a handful of colorways. The Air Max 93 "Dusty Cactus" is schedule to release on Feb. 2 for $130.
