It seems that 2018 will be a year characterized by hybrid styles for Nike's iconic Air Max line. A duo of newly leaked images shows that the brand is combining the Air Max 1 upper with the sole unit of the Air Max 90.

There is no sneaker release date available for these pairs, although it wouldn't be surprising if they arrived in March, a month that will be heavy with Air Max festivities built around Nike's Air Max Day.

Nike is also combining the Air Max 1 and Air Max 97 via Sean Wotherspoon's Frankenstein creation, and will bring the more contemporary cushioning of the Air VaporMax to heritage models like the Air Max 97 and Air Max 95.
