LeBron James' Instagram account has become his go-to method of showcasing just how crazy the Nike plug is when you are signed to a lifetime contract. Over the past few weeks alone, he has showcased an "SVSM" colorway of the Air Zoom Generation, the A-COLD-WALL* Air Force 1 High, and the ultra rare "Eminem" Air Jordan 4. Today, he dug back into his bag and rocked a pair of the Zoom LeBron 3

This shoe appears to be a never-before-seen colorway of the model from James' early years in Cleveland. It sports an all-grey nubuck upper and updated branding replacing the "L23" logo on the shoe's medial heel—suggesting this pair is recently made, rather than a leftover from the original run. Closer inspection also reveals "SFG" (Strive For Greatness) branding which has recently been used on lifestyle-based colorways of his Soldier line. While this new color scheme could just be an exclusive for King James, it could potentially be a tease at an upcoming retro from the LeBron signature line as well.

Up until this point, Nike has only retroed pairs of his first signature model, the Air Zoom Generation, but it appears more models could be on the horizon.
