After and extended period of sneaker free agency, Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is reportedly re-signing with Adidas. Yahoo's Shams Charnaria broke the story earlier today, saying that Wall has officially agreed to a new 5-year deal.

Sources: Washington Wizards All-Star John Wall has agreed to a five-year endorsement deal with Adidas. Wall returns to the brand after testing shoe free agency over the past couple years.

Wall entered the league as a member of the Reebok family, before parent company Adidas Basketball picked up his deal in 2013. After two years and two signature models, Wall parted ways with Adidas in late 2015, turning down a reported 8-year, $66 million contract extension. On Dec. 29, Wall sparked rumors of a return to Adidas when he took the court wearing his first Adidas signature sneaker and has been wearing 3-Stripes on the court since.

Wall fits in alongside James Harden, Dame Lillard and Kristaps Porzingis and helps pick up some of the star power left behind by an injury-ridden Derrick Rose. He's been selected for the last four All-Star Games and made his first All-NBA team last season.
