Beware of Fake Off-White x Nikes

Video in factory captures dozens of fake Off-White x Nike Blazers being produced.

Virgil Abloh's "The Ten" collection with Nike was arguably the most coveted sneaker collaboration of 2017, and with low supply and high demand, fakes were inevitable. Thanks to a video posted by @fake_educator on Instagram, there is now visual evidence of what most already assumed was definitely happening.

The video shows what looks like a random overseas factory producing unauthorized pairs. These might be able to pass as legitimate from afar, but are discernible from the real thing up-close.

While the video only shows pairs of the Blazers, it's likely that other silhouettes from the collection have suffered the same fate at the hands of counterfeiters.

If you do plan on dropping the cash to cop one of Abloh's "The Ten" pairs on the resell market, make sure to only use reputable dealers to avoid all the stress and hassle of buying fakes like these. Definitely do not try to flex on social media with fakes either; Virgil knows.
