The first of seven pairs that will be a part of this year's Dragon Ball Z x Adidas collection has been revealed. After word of the rumored collection surfaced a few weeks ago, Yeezy Mafia has now provided a look at a pair that takes inspiration from the character Frieza.
This canvas for this particular pair is one of Adidas' new silhouettes debuting in 2018, the Yung-1, which takes heavy design inspiration from the the Yeezy Wave Runner 700 model. The chunky runner also seems to slightly resemble the '90s Temper Run runner from the Three Stripes as well.
To mimic the appearance of Frieza, this pair sports a white mesh and leather upper, purple and pink suede accents on the toe box, and purple hits on the tongue, heel, and midsole as well. Further pink details can be seen on the outsole tread and the usual side panel Three Stripes branding are white with a purple outline.
According to Yeezy Mafia, expect the Dragon Ball Z x Adidas Yung-1 "Frieza" and the other six pairs from the collection to drop August 2018.
