Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback and Jordan Brand athlete Joe Haden just unveiled a new pair of Air Jordan 1s tied to Nike's ongoing "Equality" campaign on his Instagram story.
The shoes feature a unique color theme for the silhouette, with the entire collar blocked to match the shoe's tongue, eyestay, and toe. The rear midsole of each shoe reads "EQUALITY."
Nike has a similar Air Force 1 in the works with text around its midsole.
Based on sneaker release date calendars, the Air Jordan 1 "Equality" should launch on Jan. 15. There's been some confusion around the shoe, and some stores and sites have mixed up the black/white/gold patent leather Jordan 1 with this pair.
UPDATE 01/11: Official images of the "Equality" Air Jordan 1 High have leaked. One notable detail these new images display is Carmelo Anthony's Jordan Brand logo on the tongue tag.
