These Adidas Sneakers Will Let You Ride The Train For Free

This Adidas EQT Support Overkill BVG will let you ride the train for free this year.

Who wouldn't want to ride the train for free while looking fresh doing so? This unique collaboration from sneaker boutique Overkill in Berlin along with Adidas will allow wearers do just that. 

The Overkill x Adidas EQT Support 93 celebrates the 90th birthday of the Berlin metro system known as Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG). The uppers of the shoes take inspiration from the colorful seats, while the lace represent the outer shell of the train. It all sit on top of a white Boost midsole.

Limited to 500 pairs, this sneaker also serves as a BVG annual train pass. The pass will be valid on all vehicles of the BVG system from Jan. 16 to Dec. 31, 2018. An annual metro pass will typically cost you $869 USD, so these shoes will look like a steal when will release in-store on Jan. 16 at Overkill for approximately $220 USD. 

Overkill has worked with Adidas many times prior, dropping a handful of exclusive projects and silhouettes including an Adidas EQT Support collection that released in 2017.
