This past Saturday, a teen was robbed at gunpoint for his pair of Adidas Yeezys during a botched transaction in Times Square.

According to CBS2 New York, the robbery happened a few short blocks away from this past weekend's Sneaker Con event. The 17-year old victim scheduled a meet up with a potential buyer, and believed he would be receiving cash in exchange for his Yeezys. The exchange was scheduled to take place at the mezzanine of the Times Square-42nd St. subway station at 42nd St. and Seventh Avenue.

CBS2 goes on to report that the victim agreed to sell the sneakers for $340. While the suspect was attempting to break a $100 bill at the subway station, he showed the victim a gun in his waistband, and proceeded to take the sneakers and run.

Local authorities are still looking for the suspect. He was described as an approx. 6-foot tall, 190-pound, 23-year-old Hispanic male.
