Nike's World Headquarters expansion will include four new structures, including one named after the greatest women's tennis player of all-time.

Today, plans for the Serena Williams Building were officially unveiled, along with another for Nike athlete Sebastian Coe, a fitness center named after Coach Mike Krzyzewski and a parking garage that celebrates the sporting heritage of New York City. According to Nike, the buildings "reinforce the original campus master plan and link to pre-existing spaces through open green areas, sports courts and fields, and are positioned for fluid future growth." The architecture is said to have been inspired by movement.

Design is being guided by Northwest-based firms ZGF Architects, SRG Partnership and Skylab Architecture, while Hoffman Construction provided landscape architecture services. Completion of this phase of the WHQ expansion is expected in 2019.
