Is Virgil Abloh teaming up with Nike to remake the HyperAdapt, its cutting-edge sneaker that laces itself? Probably not. But that didn't stop one sneaker store from posting the above image purporting to be such a collaboration.
Sivasdescalzo in Spain put a picture of the sneaker on Instagram forĀ el Día de los Santos Inocentes, an April Fool's Day equivalent in Spanish-speaking countries celebrated on Dec. 28. The store has done this before, mocking up a wild Air Jordan 11 "Moon Landing" for the holiday in 2015.
While this Off-White x Nike HyperAdapt obviously isn't real, some more believable social media images of unauthorized Abloh collabs have surfaced recently. They've earned curt criticism from the Off-White designer, who took to the internet to shut down pairs like this fake Air Jordan 1.
