Kyrie Irving has had an interesting past couple of months. Following a trade demand away from LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, he was sent to the Boston Celtics to play alongside new free agent signee Gordon Hayward. Hayward then went down with a season-ending injury in the first game of the year. Despite this, Irving has lead the Celtics to an NBA-best 19-4 record, putting them atop the entire Eastern Conference. Nike even introduced a mash-up model of his first three signatures, the S1 Hybrid, seemingly out of nowhere. Now, Irving's fourth signature sneaker with the Swoosh, and first as a Celtic, finally has a release date as well.

The model appears to sport a nubuck and mesh upper with "teeth" that extend up onto the midsole similar to the Kyrie 1, and an overall silhouette that can be likened to the Kyrie 3. Two upcoming colorways of the Nike Kyrie 4 were previewed on Instagram by the_broken_baller. One appears to be the debut release sporting a black upper, white midsole, blue outsole, and blue Kyrie branding. The other is a more basic black and white color scheme.

According to Foot Locker's release calendar, the Black/White/Anthracite/Light Racer Blue Nike Kyrie 4 is scheduled to drop on Dec. 20 for $120.
