Jordan Brand and Gatorade released its first set of sports drink-inspired sneakers this weekend with the "Be Like Mike" Air Jordan 6 and 32, but there is only one place in the country that is selling the third Jordan silhouette in the collection early.
For the grand opening of Foot Locker's west coast flagship in Hollywood, Calif., the sneaker chain is letting customers buy all four of the upcoming "Be Like Mike" Air Jordan 1 in extremely limited qualities. Each colorway is inspired by a different flavor of the sports quencher that was made a household name in the '90s with Michael Jordan's "Be Like Mike" commercials and the sneakers feature Gatorade branding on the heel and icy outsole.
A wider release date for the "Be Like Mike" Air Jordan 1 is scheduled for Dec. 26, while another Gatorade-themed Air Jordan 6 in all green suede is set for Dec. 30. If you're in the Los Angeles area, you can buy the Air Jordan 1 in Orange Peel, Blue Lagoon, Rush Violet or Cyber Yellow (Foot Locker will be the only national retailer with all four of the colorways) now at 6801 Hollywood Blvd. Each purchase also comes with a Michael Jordan Gatorade Bottle or Jordan Gatorade towel. The Hollywood location also grand opened by having a range of Jordan restocks that included this year's Air Jordan 11 launches and Royal Blue Air Jordan 1s.
