One of the most coveted Jordans out there just might be getting a release before the year's end. Various Instagram sneaker accounts are suggesting that a release of the "Encore" Jordan 4 celebrating Eminem's album of the same name will happen in 2017.

While it seems rather unlikely that Jordan Brand would bring this shoe back out of nowhere, Eminem is releasing his latest album, Revival, on Dec. 15, and it's not out of the question that Jordan Brand could mark the moment with a special product release. The two have collaborated a number of times before, most recently via this Detroit-specific pair from 2015 that also involved Carhartt.

Jordan hasn't said anything about the possible re-release of the "Encore" x Air Jordan 4 Eminem collaboration. Until then, those hoping to add the shoe to their collection will have to settle for a pair of the originals, which are going for a wild $69,000 now at resell shop Stadium Goods.

In what may have been a reference to a possible release, Eminem posted a photo of himself with the sneakers on Instagram on Tuesday, mentioning resell platform StockX in the caption.
