Virginia-based streetwear boutique Commonwealth, which previously expanded to Washington D.C. and Manila, is now setting up shop in downtown Los Angeles.
The new 1,500 square-foot space opened its doors at 2008 E. 7th Street in the Arts District. Commonwealth DTLA will showcase brands that fulfill the demand for new and established street, fashion and sportswear in the area. The retailer prides itself on variety, ranging from classics to lesser known cult favorites such as Adidas, Wacko Maria, Second/Layer, PLEASURES, Brain Dead and Padmore & Barnes.
"Our wide assortment of offerings is synonymous to the vibrant culture of the Arts District and greater Los Angeles as a whole," said Commonwealth co-founder Omar Quiambao. "We are excited to offer our unique perspective of men's style through apparel, footwear and accessories to this thriving area."
Commonwealth will also offer its own namesake brand and launch special projects and collaborations exclusive to LA.
