To kick off the new year, Adidas Originals is taking it old school by bringing back two colorways of one of its original '70s runners.
Dubbed the "Epochal Pack," this pack brings back the Marathon TR, one of the last projects overseen by founder Adi Dassler, in its original form with two nostalgic colorways. Both the green and blue color schemes sport a mesh upper with suede overlays on the toe, heel, and eyelets. Metallic silver leather hits are seen on the heel and Three Strips branding. Staying true to the OG, the pair also sports a Dellinger Web midsole, black trail outsole that extends past the heel, and blue Adidas Trefoil branding on the tongue.
While the Marathon TR might not still hold true as a solid choice for its original purpose on the trails, this comeback is still welcome decades later as a solid casual option to put into the rotation.
