Although today's Nike SB might not hold the same allure that it did years ago, there is still a great history for the brand to recall in order to deliver a solid drop every now and then. The latest Dunk using this strategy is the Nike SB Zoom Dunk Low Elite x Medicom "Bearbrick."
This collaborative effort from Nike SB and Medicom celebrates the 15-year anniversary of Nike SB, and also commemorates a shoe partnership that started back in 2004 with the release of the original "Medicom" Dunk Low. This particular pair takes inspiration from the "Medicom 2." Like the original, it features grey denim on the midpanel, heel, and toebox, and black denim around the toe and heel, as well as the eyelets and Swoosh.
While this pair has the same materials as the original, the silhouette has a thinner tongue, more flexible outsole, and lighter overall weight. It sports a Bearbrick logo on the tongue tag and specially branded insoles.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Elite x Medicom "Bearbrick" releases on Black Friday through Nike SNKRS and other select retailers for $115.
